CHAP is dependent on people just like you to continue serving homeschooling families. Due to continued growth, we have various leadership positions and smaller support job openings. All positions require an agreement to CHAP’s Statement of Faith, the general qualities of strong written and verbal communication skills, computer proficiency, and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Social Media Advocate | CHAP

Communications Team Volunteer

The Social Media Advocate is a key part of the Communications Team and will report to the Director of Communications.  The Social Media Advocate will join and participate in various Pennsylvania Homeschool Facebook Groups (and/or groups on other social media platforms) as a representative of CHAP in order to help answer homeschool related questions and to highlight CHAP's available resources. Candidates must agree with the CHAP statement of faith, and wholly endorse and support CHAP’s mission statement and goals. Responsibilities include:
  • Distributing appropriate and timely information
  • Finding and joining relevant social media groups
  • Monitoring conversations and responding to questions
  • Building relationships with new and existing homeschoolers
  • Meeting monthly with the Communications Team.
Time Commitment: 30-60 minutes daily as appropriate or needed
