I hold a Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate in Special Education. I hold a B.S. with Honors from Cornell University and a M.S. from Temple University. I taught at a private special needs school for 8 years. Our children, ages 30, 28, and 23, were always homeschooled. Our son is a 2015 Cornell University graduate. He has a B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences. Our daughter is a 2017 Albright College graduate. She has a B.A. in Fashion Design. She is also a 2021 LIM college graduate with a Master of Professional Studies in the Business of Fashion. Our third child, a daughter, has a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology from New York Institute of Technology. I am listed with Pennsylvania Homeschoolers Accreditation Agency, Mason Dixon Homeschoolers Association, and Erie County Homeschoolers Association. Evaluations are held virtually. My specialty is dyslexia and other reading problems. I am certified by Wilson Language Systems and CERI (Center for Effective Reading Instruction). I have taken numerous courses presented by the Barton Reading and Spelling System and Lindamood-Bell in addition to my degrees from the University of Michigan. In Pennsylvania, I am certified in Special Education, Elementary, and Reading (K-12). I have taught K-12 in private, parochial, and public schools through 30 years of employment with the Delaware County Intermediate Unit as well as contract work with the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District. I have presented teacher-training sessions in school districts in New York and New Jersey–teaching teachers how to recognize and remediate students with dyslexia.
