Helping Moms Connect and Find Supportive Sisters in the Homeschool Journey
CHAP Mentors are available for encouragement or advice, one-on-one or virtual. CHAP Mentors are not professional counselors or coaches. We are here to be a friendly face, listening ear, and encouraging voice to help you on your homeschool journey. We are homeschoolers that have gone before–been there done that–and can encourage you to do the same.
Hello! Welcome to the CHAP Mentor Network.
As you search for a mentor to connect with in your area, keep in mind that our network functions similarly to our support group and evaluator searches. All CHAP mentors are listed here so you can see who lives in your area, but it is the mentor’s responsibility to maintain a schedule that works for their lifestyle. CHAP does not match mentor to mentee. The mentor network functions more like the evaluator search where you look for someone and then reach out to them to chat about availability. It could be that the mentor you choose to contact first will have a full schedule and cannot take on another mentee. Do not despair! Try another mentor. It could be that you end up connecting with someone out of your immediate area.
