The Social Media Advocate is a key part of the Communications Team and will report to the Director of Communications.  The Social Media Advocate will join and participate in various Pennsylvania Homeschool Facebook Groups (and/or groups on other social media platforms) as a representative of CHAP in order to help answer homeschool related questions and to highlight CHAP’s available resources.

Candidates must agree with the CHAP statement of faith, and wholly endorse and support CHAP’s mission statement and goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Distributing appropriate and timely information
  • Finding and joining relevant social media groups
  • Monitoring conversations and responding to questions
  • Building relationships with new and existing homeschoolers
  • Meeting monthly with the Communications Team.

Time Commitment:
30-60 minutes daily as appropriate or needed
