The Homeschooling in the News Coordinator will help procure content for the weekly Homeschooling in the News section in the CHAP E-News and for individual social media posts. The Homeschooling in the News Coordinator would be part of the CHAP Communications Team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Finding and assembling news articles and blogs that are published each week
  • Vetting the articles/blogs to ensure they meet CHAP’s publishing standards
  • Building an ongoing list of links and headlines that can be highlighted in the weekly E-News and in Social Media
  • Reviewing and editing the headlines to ensure that they are intriguing to the reader
  • Meeting monthly with the Communications Team.

Time Commitment:

  • 1-2 hours per week
