CHAP is looking for volunteers for this year’s upcoming Convention. If you can help in any of these positions, please reach out to volunteer@chaponline.com:
Room Host: This person will be introducing the speaker, sitting and listening (some standing or walking to retrieve used water bottles & possibly seat people), and watching that room does not exceed capacity and that people are not standing in the doorways or aisles unnecessarily. Room host is welcome to, and encouraged to, bring a notebook to take personal notes of speaker sessions.
Pre-Registration Attendant: This person will distribute pre-registered envelopes with wristbands and give directions to attendees.
Walk-In Registration Cashier: This person will register people at the door and accept payment.
Wednesday Set up Crew: This person will help in general convention set up including but not limited to setting up chairs, hanging signs, and organizing registration paperwork.
Prayer Booth Attendant: This person will attend the prayer booth, being available to pray for requests as they are received and pray with individuals who might stop by.
Parking Attendant: This person will assist attendees in finding where to park and offer directions to convention spaces.
Saturday Tear Down Crew: This person will help to take down tables, signs, registration area, collect mats, gather left over materials, etc.
