Peter and Angela Fecteau …
Dave and Kathy Snyder have homeschooled their four daughters and are thankful for the ways it has shaped their family’s growth, both academically and spiritually. With backgrounds in accounting, financial advising, and business consulting, they’ve created a flexible, supportive learning environment. Their daughters have gone on to pursue careers in nonprofit management, bookkeeping and media. Their youngest daughter is taking college classes while still in high school and working toward becoming an attorney. Their family also runs a nonprofit organization.
Throughout their journey, Kathy and her daughters have faced ongoing health challenges, which have strengthened their faith and their commitment to homeschooling.

Steve and Ginger Wayde have been married since 1999, experiencing God’s transforming work in their married life. Through the leading of the Lord, they have embraced God’s call to be passionate about discipling their children and growing in the Lord as a family unit. They homeschool their six children. Together, Steve and Ginger have served in children’s ministry and family ministry. Ginger has also participated in music ministry.
Steve is an IT professional in Higher Education. He dedicates his time to leading and supporting his family, bringing them up in the training and admonition of the Lord. Ginger has been involved with local homeschool co-ops as a participant, leader, and drama director.
Steve and Ginger enjoy their continuing adventure with God.
Advisory Board

After attending the yearly CHAP conventions while their children were small, Jim and Becky Fahringer started volunteering at the CHAP Conventions when their three children were in the middle to upper grades. Now, years later, their children are now adults who plan to homeschool their own young children.
The Fahringers feel so blessed and honored to serve with CHAP. They appreciate a way to give back to this long term ministry because God significantly used CHAP to encourage them in the discipling of their children through all their homeschooling years. The Fahringers enthusiastically support CHAP and its mission, helping and encouraging parents to teach their children about our wonderful Lord Jesus as they educate them at home.
Jim and Becky met and married in the late 80’s while on summer staff at Montrose Bible Conference where Jim has served full time since their wedding. Jim serves as administrator and Becky in hospitality at their busy camp and retreat center and at their local church.
