The Lancaster County Convention Center (LCCC) is surrounded by several parking garages under the management of The Lancaster Parking Authority. The LCCC has arranged a reduced daily rate for commuters of $7.00 for day parking. Overnight LCCC Marriott guests will receive “In/Out Privileges” during the day, and have their parking fee of $10/night* included on their bill.
*The parking fee is subject to 6% state tax.
Everyone will receive his or her reduced-rate parking vouchers upon arrival. When leaving the parking garage, day commuters will insert their original parking ticket first and then insert their reduced-rate voucher second. The final parking fee may then be paid with cash or credit card (American Express not accepted).
See the Lancaster Parking Authority for the location and height clearance for each garage.
Additional valuable downtown transportation information is available via Red Rose Transit Authority, including information on Bus Schedules and Fees, “Free Fares” for seniors 65 and older, Park and Ride options, and Discount Passes.
- From Highway 30, take the Fruitville Pike. Follow signs for “Historic Lancaster”
- Fruitville Pike becomes N. Prince Street
- Proceed south on N. Prince St. and turn left on King Street
- Penn Square and the Lancaster County Convention Center will be one block ahead on your right at the traffic light.
PLEASE NOTE, however, that you will want to actually navigate to a parking garage. From there you will walk into the convention center. The Penn Square garage, adjoined to the LCCC, will fill up quickly. You may want to consider parking in the Prince Street garage, especially if you are arriving after 9:00 a.m., rather than driving to the Penn Square garage, finding it full, and having to double back.
Also note that downtown work traffic can become congested and the annual Red Rose Run occurs the same Saturday as the CHAP Convention. If commuting, you will want to allow additional travel time to come into the convention center.
